Thanks Ally! The snow/ice has all melted now, we are just awaiting warmer temps. I did see a few tulip stems peeking out this week at the front of the house which gets the sun.

That’s a lovely visual Jo. That photo actually belongs to a friend who does a lot of hiking. I’m always partial to a birch tree, which looks lovely summer or winter!

The beauty of Winter, captured by your camera and your mom’s paints and canvas. It is beautiful to look at here, even that amazing bench with the dripping icicles. You both saw the beauty, though by now, the second week of March it loses its appeal a little. We had a wintry mix early a.m. and more of that tonight and tomorrow and windchills in the teens. Spring is around the corner they say.

We had the same snow, but it had melted off the roads by pm so I could walk. Still cold tomorrow though, then more snow Sunday, then next week all in 40-50’s which is March break for the kids here. So I think things are looking up. Enjoy your weekend Linda!

Yes, I hate when morning is messed up, but fine later in the day, too late for me to go though. Going to the Park at the end of the day is a whole different thing – kids on bikes or running around every which way and critters are long gone by then, but to not lose miles, now with the time change, it is an option in the evening for a walk in the neighborhood. Yes, it sounds promising once we are out of tomorrow’s additional snow. Warmer temps around the corner sounds good to me Joni – this morning it was 20 mph Northwest winds and 4F “real feel” – very brutal. You enjoy your weekend too.

I couldn’t walk yesterday, too cold, or today either, but this afternoon it was warmer. Plus with the snow this morning, I just couldn’t force myself to go out in it, and with the time change, the whole day seemed off, but a spring week is on the way.

Yes, I’m looking forward to this week Joni – it was still pretty cold this morning and windy too … one more week til Spring (not that the calendar page means anything in relation to the weather these days).
