Let your photo(s) tell your story. Autumn went out in a blaze of glory.

Thanks! My favorite is the second to last photo taken during a mellow late afternoon walk. Someone passed me with their head buried in their cell phone, and I thought, look around at all this beauty!
Gosh Joni, these are all SO beautiful to see! We do not get autumn colours like this in South Africa and so I marvel at the splendid displays from the northern hemisphere. This is a wonderful way of getting to know what other parts of our world look like. While each of these photographs are beautiful in their own way – with their own message – I really enjoy your ‘montage’ one.
Thanks Anne! Just as I enjoy seeing your animals and exotic birds! The montage one seems to be a favorite, but I just shoot away and see what turns out the best, with my cheap Samsung cell phone and 15 year old digital camera.
Thanks Debbie…..we had a big windstorm and they’re all down now. We’ve been spoiled with a long warm spell with record breaking temps 24 C. Even this week is continuing nice, no snow in sight. I think you have been colder, but you have fewer COVID cases. Things are skyrocketing in Ont. although not too bad still here.
These are absolutely stunning pictures of the Fall leaves Joni – Fall is truly the most beautiful season of the year in my opinion and the Maples are a big reason, for their vibrant colors!
Yes, it’s one of her paintings. I’ve been sneaking one in here and there, since I’ve been on agent duty. Sadly, the leaves are all down now due to the last windstorm, but it’s still nice to crunch them underfoot.
Well, if you have to be wordless, at least you provide the wonder!! Gorgeous pics, nicely arranged, and I loved your mom’s painting snug within. Truly a delight, Joni.
Thanks Annie. Nice week I’ll get back to my regularly scheduled wordy posts, but it’s fun to do these short photo ones, and certainly less time-consuming.
Very nice photos and I especially enjoy the sun backed leaves.
My leaf photos always disappoint me compared to real life.
I enjoyed visiting and reading the comments as well.
Lovely! “A colorful montage” and your last image are my favorites.

Fall leaves – wonderful! And I like how you surprised us with a painting of your Mom’s too. I’m assuming it was your mother’s.

You do have some spectacular colors in your tree selection. I liked your mom’s painting, too. It captures the essence of fall very well.

Thanks Denise! It’s looking bare now and this morning we even had a few snow flurries! Just to put us in the mood for Christmas.

Such a different look, a snow covered ground…but I love it as much as the leaves 🙂 As long as I’m not raking them that is 😉

The colors are beautiful indeed. I have a large maple tree that gives a big splash of bright yellow every fall. It excites me every year.

Thanks JP! It’s looking very bare now after two big windstorms. We’re deep into chilly November now.
